This page explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
SIA Techvibes (Registration No 40203703262), Ilūkstes 20 - 50, Riga, LV-1082, Latvia, is the controller of personal data collected through this website. For anything about your data, email business@trytechvibes.dev.
What we collect
When you email us. The "Start a project" buttons and the brief form open your own email app with a prefilled message. Nothing you type into the form is sent to or stored by this website. When you send the email, we receive your email address, your name and whatever you write. We use it to reply and, if we work together, to prepare and deliver the project. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
When you visit the site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people read. It does not use cookies and does not identify you: visits are told apart by a hash of the request that is discarded within a day, and we only see aggregated figures. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Article 6(1)(f)).
Technical logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver the site and keep it secure. These logs are kept for a limited period.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use your browser's storage to track you, which is why there is no cookie banner. If we ever add a tool that needs cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
Fonts are served from our own domain, so your browser does not contact Google or other font services when you visit.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel Inc. hosts the website and provides the analytics.
- Google Workspace (Google) receives and stores the emails you send us.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal data leaves the EU/EEA, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and project correspondence for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any work that follows, and longer only where accounting or other laws require it. Analytics data is only kept in aggregated form.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, and send it to you in a portable format. Email business@trytechvibes.dev and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) at dvi.gov.lv.
Changes to this policy
If anything changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
